S&S Homestead Farm on Lopez Island is a fifty-acre family farm that is managed to be self-sufficient and ecologically responsible using biodynamic processes. In existence since 1970, the farm integrates growing vegetables, fruit, and flowers with the production of beef, dairy, pork, lamb, chicken and eggs, as well as producing animal feeds and fertilizers. The farm produces fresh local organic seasonally and sustainably grown food, sold through CSA and subscriptions, and provides education in ecological farming and sustainable living for the community.
